PRAY to the FATHER in the name of his ONLY BEGOTTEN SON.
“[BE NOT RASH WITH THY MOUTH], and let not thine heart be hasty [TO
UTTER ANY THING BEFORE GOD]: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: [THEREFORE
LET THY WORDS BE FEW]” (Ecclesiastes 5:2).
“[NO MAN HATH SEEN GOD] at any time; [THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON], which is
in the bosom of the Father, h hath declared him” (John 1:18).
“For there is [ONE GOD], and [ONE MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD AND MEN], the man
[CHRIST JESUS]: who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time”
(1 Timothy 2:5–6).
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8)
says: “When thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy
door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in
secret shall reward thee openly” (Matthew 6:6).
“When ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they
think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore
like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye
ask him” (Matthew 6:7-8).
“[AFTER THIS MANNER THEREFORE PRAY YE]: Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is
the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen” (Matthew 6:9-13).
