NEW JERUSALEM is in NEW HEAVENS AND A NEW EARTH.
“The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with
judgment and righteousness. Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: [THINE
EYES SHALL SEE JERUSALEM A QUIET HABITATION, A TABERNACLE THAT SHALL NOT BE
TAKEN DOWN]; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall
any of the cords thereof be broken” (Isaiah 33:5, 20).
“Mine eyes shall be upon the
faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect
way, he shall serve me” (Psalm 101:6).
“The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein forever” (Psalm
37:29). “Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down
from heaven” (Psalm 85:11).
The Revelation of Jesus Christ as given to John:
“AND I saw [A NEW HEAVEN AND A NEW EARTH]: for the first heaven and the
first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw [THE
HOLY CITY, NEW JERUSALEM], coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a
bride adorned for her husband. [AND HE THAT SAT UPON THE THRONE SAID, BEHOLD, I
MAKE ALL THINGS NEW]. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and
faithful” (Revelation 21:1-2, 5).
“And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in
it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And
the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the
kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. And the gates of it
shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there” (Revelation
21: 23-25).
“And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth,
neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are
written in the Lamb’s book of life: (Revelation 21:27).
“And there shall be no more curse: but the [THRONE OF GOD AND OF THE
LAMB] shall be in it; and [HIS SERVANTS SHALL SERVE HIM]:
And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of
the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: [AND THEY SHALL REIGN FOR EVER AND
EVER].
And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord
God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things
which must shortly be done” (Revelation 22:3-6).
“I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the
churches” (Revelation 22:16).
“He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen.
Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
Amen” (Revelation 22:20-21).
