“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8) is “The Christ of God” (Luke 9:20), the only begotten Son of God, says:

“[I WAS SET UP FROM EVERLASTING, FROM THE BEGINNING, OR EVER THE EARTH WAS]. While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world: When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him; Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men” (Proverbs 8:26–31).

“I am the light of the world: he that [FOLLOWETH] me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life” (John 8:12).

“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death” (Revelation 1:18).

“[I AM ALPHA AND OMEGA, THE BEGINNING AND THE END, THE FIRST AND THE LAST]” (Revelation 22:13).

“I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen” (Revelation 22:16-21).
