A moment of silience while we hear these words of our Lord, Savior and King J E S U S:
“Ye have heard that it hath been said, ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth
for a tooth:’ But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall
smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also” (Matthew 5:38-39).
“Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall
say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake” (Matthew 5:11).
“Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for
theirs is the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:10).
“Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of
God. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God” (Matthew 5:8-9).
“Blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it” (Luke 11:28).
“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away”
(Matthew 24:35).
“The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it,
that the works thereof are evil” (John 7:7).
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In
the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the
world” (John 16:33).
“Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give
you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32).
“I
am with you alway, even unto the end of the world” (Matthew 28:20).
