LIGHT versus Darkness.
“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto
you, that [GOD IS LIGHT], and [IN HIM IS NO DARKNESS AT ALL]” (1 John 1:5).
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down
from the Father of [LIGHTS], with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of
turning” (James 1:17).
“For God so loved the world, that he gave [HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON], that [WHOSOEVER
BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD] not perish, but [HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE]” (John 3:16).
Jesus, the only begotten Son of God says: “I am come a [LIGHT] into the
world, that [WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH ON ME SHOULD NOT ABIDE IN DARKNESS]’” (John
12:46).
“I am the [LIGHT] of the world: [HE THAT FOLLOWETH ME SHALL NOT WALK IN
DARKNESS, BUT SHALL HAVE THE LIGHT OF LIFE]” (John 8:12).
“And this is the condemnation, that [LIGHT IS COME INTO THE WORLD, AND
MEN LOVED DARKNESS RATHER THAN LIGHT], because [THEIR DEEDS WERE EVIL]. For every one that doeth evil hateth the
light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But [HE
THAT DOETH TRUTH COMETH TO THE LIGHT], that his deeds may be made manifest,
that they are wrought in God” (John 3:19-21).
“[WOE UNTO THEM THAT CALL EVIL GOOD AND GOOD EVIL]; that put [DARKNESS
FOR LIGHT, AND LIGHT FOR DARKNESS]; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for
bitter” (Isaiah 5:20).
“[FOR THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS IN ALL GOODNESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS AND
TRUTH]: Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. [AND HAVE NO FELLOWSHIP WITH
THE UNFRUITFUL WORKS OF DARKNESS], but rather [REPROVE THEM]” (Ephesians 5:9–11).
“Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes
darkness, but now are ye [LIGHT IN THE LORD: WALK AS CHILDREN OF LIGHT]: (For
the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord” (Ephesians 5:7-10).
“[THE DAY OF THE LORD WILL COME AS A THIEF IN THE NIGHT]; in which the
heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with
fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up”
(2 Peter 3:10).
“But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake
you as a thief. [YE ARE ALL THE CHILDREN OF LIGHT]” (1 Thessalonians 5:4–5).
“And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and
great glory. And [WHEN THESE THINGS BEGIN TO COME TO PASS], then look up, and
lift up your heads; for [YOUR REDEMPTION DRAWETH NIGH]” (Luke 21:27:28).
“There shall be [WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH], when ye shall see
Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the Kingdom of God, and
you yourselves thrust out” (Luke 13:28). “And cast ye the [UNPROFITABLE SERVANT
INTO OUTER DARKNESS]: there shall be [WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH]” (Matthew
25:30).
Let us stand and keep steadfast in the LIGHT of JESUS CHRIST to the E N
