GOD is GREAT and must always be given thanks and to be praised because he alone is GOD (Genesis 1:1-31) (Exodus 20:2–3) (Isaiah 44:7–8).

“Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name” (Jeremiah 33:2).

“[IS THERE A GOD BESIDE ME]? ‘Yea, there is no God; I know not any’” (Isaiah 44:7–8).

“I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me” (Isaiah 45:5).

“I AM the LORD thy God. Thou shalt have no other gods before me” (Exodus 20:2–3).

 “Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God” (Psalm 90:2).

“Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite” (Psalm 147:5).

“I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it. [WOE UNTO HIM THAT STRIVETH WITH HIS MAKER]! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?” (Isaiah 45:7-9).

“For the LORD is [GREAT, AND GREATLY TO BE PRAISED]: he is to be [FEARED] above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are [IDOLS]: but the LORD made the heavens” (Psalm 96:4–5).

“Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven” (Psalm 148:13).

“Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness” (Psalm 107:8-9).

“PRAISE ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness” (Psalm 150:1-2).

“BLESS the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; [WHO HEALETH ALL THY DISEASES]” (Psalm 103:1-2).

“I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

[SURELY HE SHALL DELIVER THEE] from the snare of the fowler, and [FROM THE NOISOME PESTILENCE].

[THOU SHALT NOT BE AFRAID] for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

Nor [fOR THE PESTILENCE THAT WALKETH IN DARKNESS]; nor

for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

[THERE SHALL NO EVIL BEFALL THEE, NEITHER SHALL ANY PLAGUE COME NIGH THY DWELLING]” (Psalm 91:2-3, 5-6, 10).

“[THOU ART MY GOD, AND I WILL PRAISE THEE: THOU ART MY GOD, I WILL EXALT THEE]. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever” (Psalm 118:28-29).

“Blessed be the LORD God of Israel [FROM EVERLASTING, AND TO EVERLASTING]. Amen, and Amen” (Psalm 41:13).
