DO NOT go out to party; DO NOT go about doing things to keep yourself busy and DO NOT go to sleep when the period of days of DARKNESS comes because the Sun and the Moon and the Stars will not give any have light before the Day of the Lord, the COMING of our Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 24:36).

“[WOE UNTO YOU THAT DESIRE THE DAY] of the LORD! To what end is it for you? The day of the Lord is [DARKNESS], and not light. Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? [EVEN VERY DARK, AND NO BRIGHTNESS IN IT]” (Amos 5:18, 20).

“[THE SUN SHALL BE TURNED INTO DARKNESS, AND THE MOON INTO BLOOD, BEFORE THE GREAT AND THE TERRIBLE DAY OF THE] LORD come. And it shall come to pass, that [WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL ON THE NAME] of the LORD shall [BE DELIVERED]: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call” (Joel 2:31-32).

Our Lord JESUS says: “[IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TRIBULATION] of those days shall the [SUN BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON SHALL NOT GIVE HER LIGHT], and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: [AND THEN SHALL APPEAR THE SIGN OF THE SON OF MAN IN HEAVEN]: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other” (Matthew 24:29-31).

“So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors” (Matthew 24:33).

Our Lord Jesus also warned us to WATCH AND PRAY ALWAYS to escape all the things that will come to pass on that day. Let us keep in our hearts the parable of the ten virgins spoken by our Lord, saying:

“Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish” (Matthew 25:1-2).

“While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, ‘Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.’ Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, ‘Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.’ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us.’ But he answered and said, ‘Verily I say unto you, I know you not.’

[WATCH] therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh” (Matthew 25:5-13).

“Behold, I [COME AS A THIEF]. Blessed is he that [WATCHETH], and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame” (Revelation 16:15).

“But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only” (Matthew 24:36).

“[TAKE YE HEED, WATCH AND PRAY]: for ye know not when the time is. [WATCH] ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at [MIDNIGHT], or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, [WATCH]” (Mark 13:33, 35-37).

“[FOR AS A SNARE SHALL IT COME ON ALL THEM THAT DWELL ON THE FACE OF THE WHOLE EARTH].

[WATCH YE THEREFORE, AND PRAY ALWAYS], that ye may be accounted [WORTHY TO ESCAPE ALL THESE THINGS] that shall come to pass, [AND TO STAND BEFORE] the Son of man” (Luke 21:35-36).

The Apostle Paul said: “[THEREFORE LET US NOT SLEEP, AS DO OTHERS; BUT LET US WATCH AND BE SOBER]. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. [FOR GOD HATH NOT APPOINTED US TO WRATH, BUT TO OBTAIN SALVATION BY OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST]” (1 Thessalonians 5:6-9).

“Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another [DAILY], while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast [UNTO THE END]” (Hebrews 3:12-14).

“Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto [ETERNAL LIFE]” (Jude 1:21).

“The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen” (Philippians 4:23).
