The LORD is the God of LOVE; the God of PEACE and the God of RIGHTEOUSNESS and his Only Begotten Son JESUS is the Lord of Peace the Son of Peace the PRINCE OF PEACE (Luke 10:6) (Romans 15:33) (2 Thessalonians 3:16, 18) (1 Timothy 6:15, 1:17).
Therefore, God’s Elect, the CHILDREN OF GOD are the CHILDREN OF PEACE and must therefore, seek to emulate the LOVE, PEACE and RIGHTEOUSNESS of the LORD God and our Lord Jesus Christ (Psalm 145:17) (Jeremiah 4:2; 23:5) .
“And this is his commandment, That [WE SHOULD BELIEVE ON THE
NAME OF HIS SON JESUS CHRIST, AND LOVE ONE ANOTHER], as he gave us commandment”
(1 John 3:23).
“Hatred stirreth up strifes: but [LOVE COVERETH ALL SINS]”
(Proverbs 10:12).
The disciple John also expressed, said: “[IN THIS WAS
MANIFESTED THE LOVE OF GOD TOWARD US], because that [GOD SENT HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN
SON INTO THE WORLD, THAT WE MIGHT LIVE THROUGH HIM].
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us,
and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
[BELOVED, IF GOD SO LOVED US, WE OUGHT ALSO TO LOVE ONE
ANOTHER].
No man hath seen God at any time. [IF WE LOVE ONE ANOTHER,
GOD DWELLETH IN US, AND HIS LOVE IS PERFECTED IN US]” (1 John 4:9-12).
“[HE THAT LOVETH NOT KNOWETH NOT GOD; FOR GOD IS LOVE]” (1
John 4:8).
“Beloved, [LET US LOVE ONE ANOTHER: FOR LOVE IS OF GOD]; and
every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God” (1 John 4:7).
“[IF A MAN SAY, I LOVE GOD, AND HATETH HIS BROTHER, HE IS A
LIAR]: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love
God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, that [HE WHO
LOVETH GOD LOVE HIS BROTHER ALSO]” (1 John 5:20-21).
“Blessed are the [PURE IN HEART]: [FOR THEY SHALL SEE GOD]”
(Matthew 5:9).
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might
have [PEACE]. [IN THE WORLD YE SHALL HAVE TRIBULATION]: but be of [GOOD CHEER];
I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
“[PEACE I LEAVE WITH YOU, MY PEACE I GIVE UNTO YOU]: not as
the world giveth, give I unto you. [LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED, NEITHER LET
IT BE AFRAID]’” (John 14:27).
We must also be reminded of these words spoken by the Apostle
Paul said: “Abstain from all appearance of evil” (1 Thessalonians 5:22).
“Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in
the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, [LIVE
PEACEABLY WITH ALL MEN]” (Romans 12:17-18).
“[FOLLOW PEACE WITH ALL MEN], and holiness, without which no
man shall see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14).
“Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that
loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not
kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not
covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in
this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore [LOVE IS THE
FULFILLING OF THE LAW]” (Romans 13:8-10)
“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and
the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen” (2 Corinthians 13:14).
