JESUS or one million dollars: which one would you rather have today in the midst of the trepidation and turmoil in this world?
JESUS says: “[TAKE HEED, AND BEWARE OF COVETOUSNESS]: for [A MAN’S LIFE CONSISTETH NOT IN THE ABUNDANCE OF THE THINGS WHICH HE POSSESSETH]” (Luke 12:15).
“Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat?
or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? But [SEEK YE
FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD, AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS; AND ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE
ADDED UNTO YOU]” (Matthew 6:31).
“Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not,
neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth
them. Are ye not much better than they?” (Matthew 6:26).
“Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field,
which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more
clothe you, [O YE OF LITTLE FAITH]? Therefore take no thought, saying, What
shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?”
(Matthew 6:30-31).
“[NEVERTHELESS WHEN THE SON OF MAN COMETH, SHALL HE
FIND FAITH ON THE EARTH]?” (Luke 18:8).
The Apostle Paul said: “NOW FAITH IS THE SUBSTANCE OF
THINGS HOPED FOR, THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN” (Hebrews 11:1).
“[EXAMINE YOURSELVES, WHETHER YE BE IN THE FAITH];
prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that [JESUS CHRIST IS
IN YOU]?” (2 Corinthians 13:5).
“For ye are all the children of God by [FAITH IN
CHRIST JESUS]” (Galatians 3:24).
“[KEEP YOURSELVES IN THE LOVE OF GOD, LOOKING FOR THE
MERCY OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST UNTO ETERNAL LIFE]” (Jude 1:21).
