Word of God and Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In
this generation of smart phones, tablets, laptops, social media and growing
advanced technologies where information is at our finger tips, we must continue
in 2019 to live by the word of God and the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The
Apsotle Paul reminded us “that in the latter times some shall depart from the
faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; speaking lies
in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron” (1 Timothy
4:1–3).
Therefore,
let us keep faithful in 2019, and remind ourselves how our Lord Jesus Christ
asked: “Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the
earth?” (Luke 18:8).
“For
therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is
written, the just shall live by faith” (Romans 1:17).
“Now
faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”
(Hebrews 11:1).
“We
look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen;
for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen
are eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:18).
