Before Jesus was born on this earth his mission was already predetermined as it is written:

“To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace” (Luke 1:79).

“Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?” (John 7:42).
“Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began” (Luke 1:68-70).

  GOD is a LIVING GOD: “[FOR HE IS NOT A GOD OF THE DEAD, BUT OF THE LIVING]: for all live unto him” (Luke 20:38). GOD GAVE HUMANS THE BREATH OF LIFE, BUT THEN CAME DEATH. At the apex of time, Adam and Eve did not BELIEVE the word of GOD: the TRUTH (Genesis 2:16-17, 3:2–3) and instead believed the LIES of the devil, aka Satan (Genesis 3:4), that “crooked serpent” (Job 26:10). As a consequence ALL human beings were CONDEMNED TO DEATH. However, God then sent his only begotten Son Jesus, at the right time, in the fullness of time, to bring and to spread the WORD OF LIFE: “[THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE]” (John 3:15). Give God the FATHER THANKS for ALL THINGS and for giving his ONLY BEGOTTEN SON (John 3:16-18).

If we know to say “Thank you” to another human being when an act of kindness is done for us, then we MUST GIVE THANKS TO GOD because he CREATED ALL THINGS (Genesis 1:1). “For all the earth is mine” (Exodus 19:5).
