Do you truly TRUST IN GOD?
Yes, would be the answer by most people now reading these words.
Now, here is another question: Do you use
astrology or other such methodologies or inquire using familiar spirits to try
to tell you about your future?
If you answered Yes, then be made aware that
the word of God says: “I AM the LORD thy God. Thou shalt have no other gods
before me” (Exodus 20:2–3).
We cannot go to the LORD God for help and then
at the same turn go to man or other gods to also obtain help. Our help must be
ONLY from the LORD who made heaven and earth.
“For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro
throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose
heart is perfect toward him” (2 Chronicles 16:9).
We cannot put our confidence in man because we
are dust; we must put our complete confidence ONLY in GOD because he created us
ALL (Genesis 2:7).
“Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he
that hath made us, and not we ourselves” (Psalm 100:3).
“It is better to [TRUST] in the LORD than to
put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence
in princes” (Psalm 118:8-9).
“[PUT NOT YOUR TRUST] in princes, nor in the
son of man, in whom there is no help. His breath goeth forth, he returneth to
his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. Happy is he that hath the God
of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God” (Psalm 146:3-5).
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and
lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he
shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and
depart from evil” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
“The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of
trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him” (Nahum 1:7).
“Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour
out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us” (Psalm 62:8).
“Blessed be the LORD God of Israel [FROM
EVERLASTING, AND TO EVERLASTING]. Amen, and Amen” (Psalm 41:13).
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today,
and forever” (Hebrews 13:8), the only begotten Son of God says: “It is written,
that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God” (Luke 4:4).
“[NO SERVANT CAN SERVE TWO MASTERS]: for
either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the
one, and despise the other. [YE CANNOT SERVE GOD AND MAMMON]” (Luke 16:13).
“Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the
field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much
more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What
shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?”
(Matthew 6:30-31).
“Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow
not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father
feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?” (Matthew 6:26).
“Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall
we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?” (Matthew
6:28-31). “But seek ye [FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD], and [HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS]; and
[ALL THESE THINGS] shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:34, 33).
“Giving thanks always for all things unto God
and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Ephesians 5:20).
“And let the peace of God rule in your hearts,
to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful” (Colossians
3:15).
“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the
love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen” (2
Corinthians 13:14).
