“[THE KINGDOM OF GOD] IS not in word, but [IN POWER; THAT YOUR FAITH SHOULD] not [STAND] in the wisdom of men, but [IN THE POWER OF GOD]” (1 Corinthians 4:20, 2:5).

“For it is written, ‘I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.’ [FOR THE PREACHING OF THE CROSS] is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it [IS THE POWER OF GOD]. “[FOR WE ARE SAVED BY HOPE: BUT HOPE THAT IS SEEN IS NOT HOPE]: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? [BUT IF WE HOPE FOR THAT WE SEE NOT, THEN DO WE WITH PATIENCE WAIT FOR IT]” (Romans 8:22-25).
