GOOD FRIDAY versus Black Friday?

Over two thousands years ago, God sent a man from heaven to give his life for a ransom for the human race to redeem them from the darkness in this world (Isaiah 60:1). (Colossians 1:12–13); “[TO OPEN THEIR EYES, AND TO TURN THEM FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT], and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in Jesus” (Acts 26:18).

“[THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE]” (John 3:15).


Yet today, untold numbers of people would rather line up for the vain things of this world rather than lining up for the promise of ETERNAL LIFE.


“[FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE]. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved” (John 3:16-17).


“[AND THE TIMES OF THIS IGNORANCE] God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to [REPENT]: Because he hath [APPOINTED A DAY], in the which he will judge the world in [RIGHTEOUSNESS] by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof [HE HATH GIVEN ASSURANCE UNTO ALL MEN, IN THAT HE HATH RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD]” (Acts 17:30-31).


“IF ye then be risen with Christ, [SEEK THOSE THINGS WHICH ARE ABOVE, WHERE CHRIST SITTETH ON THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD. SET YOUR AFFECTION ON THINGS ABOVE, NOT ON THINGS ON THE EARTH]. For ye are [DEAD, AND YOUR LIFE] is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory” (Colossians 3:1-4).


“[JESUS CHRIST] the same yesterday, and today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8), says: “I am the [LIGHT] of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the [LIGHT OF LIFE]” (John 8:12).

“As long as I am in the world, I am the [LIGHT] of the world” (John 9:5).


“I am with you alway, [EVEN UNTO THE END OF THE WORLD]. Amen” (Matthew 28:20).

“[I AM HE THAT LIVETH, AND WAS DEAD; AND, BEHOLD, I AM ALIVE FOR EVERMORE], Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death” (Revelation 1:18).

PERFECT PEACE. Irrespective of what is taking place and will happen in the future in this world we must TRUST IN GOD to keep ourselves in PERFECT PEACE.

“Thou wilt keep him in [PERFECT PEACE, WHOSE MIND IS STAYED ON THEE]: because he [TRUSTETH] in thee” (Isaiah 26:3). Our Lord Jesus says: “LET not your heart be troubled: [YE BELIEVE IN GOD, BELIEVE ALSO IN ME]” (John 14:1). “If a man [LOVES ME, HE WILL KEEP MY WORDS]: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him” (John 14:23). “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have [PEACE]. [IN THE WORLD YE SHALL HAVE TRIBULATION]: but be of [GOOD CHEER]; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). “[PEACE I LEAVE WITH YOU, MY PEACE I GIVE UNTO YOU]: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. The POWER OF GOD and HIS ONLY BEFOTTEN SON (Genesis 1:1-31) (John 1:1-4, 14, 3:16-18): Human beings who die in JESUS CHRIST NEVER SEE DEATH: BELIEVE THIS! (John 8:51, 10:19, 27-30).

  GOD is a LIVING GOD: “[FOR HE IS NOT A GOD OF THE DEAD, BUT OF THE LIVING]: for all live unto him” (Luke 20:38). GOD GAVE HUMANS THE BREATH OF LIFE, BUT THEN CAME DEATH. At the apex of time, Adam and Eve did not BELIEVE the word of GOD: the TRUTH (Genesis 2:16-17, 3:2–3) and instead believed the LIES of the devil, aka Satan (Genesis 3:4), that “crooked serpent” (Job 26:10). As a consequence ALL human beings were CONDEMNED TO DEATH. However, God then sent his only begotten Son Jesus, at the right time, in the fullness of time, to bring and to spread the WORD OF LIFE: “[THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE]” (John 3:15).
