“And this is his commandment, That [WE SHOULD BELIEVE ON THE NAME OF HIS SON JESUS CHRIST, AND LOVE ONE ANOTHER], as he gave us commandment” (1 John 3:23).
“In this was manifested the [LOVE OF GOD] toward us, because that [GOD SENT HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON INTO THE WORLD, THAT WE MIGHT LIVE THROUGH HIM].
[HEREIN IS LOVE, NOT THAT WE LOVED GOD, BUT THAT HE LOVED US], and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
[BELOVED, IF GOD SO LOVED US, WE OUGHT ALSO TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER].
No man hath seen God at any time. [IF WE LOVE ONE ANOTHER, GOD DWELLETH IN US, AND HIS LOVE IS PERFECTED IN US]” (1 John 4:9-12).
“[GOD IS LOVE; AND HE THAT DWELLETH IN LOVE DWELLETH IN GOD, AND GOD IN HIM]” (1 John 4:16).
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love” (1 John 4:18).
“Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, [LIVE PEACEABLY WITH ALL MEN]” (Romans 12:17-18).

We must keep in our hearts these words spoken by our Lord Jesus to his disciples, saying: “[PEACE I LEAVE WITH YOU, MY PEACE I GIVE UNTO YOU]: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid’” (John 14:27).
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have [PEACE]. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
“Now the [GOD OF PEACE] be with you all. Amen” (Romans 15:33).
