Our LORD God in the name of Jesus hear our P R A Y E R.
Today, a few words of comfort to those who are unemployed, in financial
distress, lonely, weary, sick, frightened about life circumstances or simply
disillusioned about life: Let us be
reminded what Paul, the apostle said: “[PRAY WITHOUT CEASING]” (1 Thessalonians
5:17).
Many throughout time have doubted and said, in essence, “This is easier said than done.” However, Jesus emphasized, saying: “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth” (John 4:23–24).
“And I say unto you, [ASK, AND IT SHALL BE GIVEN YOU; SEEK, AND YE SHALL FIND; KNOCK, AND IT SHALL BE OPENED UNTO YOU]. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened” (Luke 11:9–10).
“[AND ALL THINGS, WHATSOEVER YE SHALL ASK IN PRAYER, BELIEVING, YE SHALL
RECEIVE. AND WHATSOEVER YE SHALL ASK IN MY NAME, THAT WILL I DO, THAT THE
FATHER MAY BE GLORIFIED IN THE SON. IF YE SHALL ASK ANY THING IN MY NAME, I
WILL DO IT” (Matthew 21:22) (John
14:13-14).
“The LORD is far from the wicked: but [HE HEARETH THE PRAYER OF THE
RIGHTEOUS]” (Proverbs 15:29).
“The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it,
and is safe” (Proverbs 18:10). “Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made
heaven and earth” (Psalm 124:8).
“IT is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises
unto thy name, O most High: To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the [MORNING],
and thy faithfulness every [NIGHT]” (Psalm 92:1-2).
“My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee. The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity. For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield” (Psalm 5:3-5, 12).
