Unfortunately, untold numbers of people are holding on to beliefs and
doctrines that by being in a particular church denomination that they will be
automatically going to heaven.
There is no need for anyone to force their beliefs on others. Too much
time is wasted debating who is right or wrong. However, let us be reminded that
only “…God is light, and in him is no darkness at all” (1 John 1:5), and “there
is no unrighteousness in him” (Psalm 92:15).
Also, let us be reminded of the words of Paul, the apostle to the
Gentiles who said:
“Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a
[HOLYDAY], or of the new moon, [OR OF THE SABBATH DAYS]: which are a [SHADOW OF
THINGS TO COME]; but [THE BODY IS OF CHRIST]” (Colossians 2:16–17).
“And he is the [HEAD OF THE BODY, THE CHURCH]: who is the beginning, the
firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the pre-eminence”
(Colossians 1:18).
Paul made it clear that the Sabbath Days are a shadow of things to come
(Isaiah 66:22–23). Moreover, Peter and the disciples also then reiterated and
emphasized to the Gentiles, saying: “For it seemed [GOOD TO THE HOLY GHOST, AND
TO US, TO LAY UPON YOU NO GREATER BURDEN THAN THESE NECESSARY THINGS]; that ye [ABSTAIN
FROM MEATS OFFERED TO IDOLS, AND FROM BLOOD, AND FROM THINGS STRANGLED, AND
FROM FORNICATION: FROM WHICH IF YE KEEP YOURSELVES], ye shall do well. Fare ye
well” (Acts 15:28–29).
Today, people all over this earth should focus less on religion, race
and riches (or lack of) and instead seek to be RIGHTEOUS because there is only
“one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all,
and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace
according to the measure of the gift of Christ” (Ephesians 4:5-7).
Every human being is responsible for their own SALVATION.
“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every
one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done,
whether it be good or bad” (2 Corinthians 5:10).
Therefore, the Apostle Paul reminded us, said: “[WORK OUT YOUR OWN
SALVATION] with fear and trembling that ye may approve things that are
excellent; [THAT YE MAY BE SINCERE AND WITHOUT OFFENCE TILL THE DAY OF CHRIST]”
(Philippians 2:12, 1:10).
