GOD’S GIFT of LIGHT IS ETERNAL LIFE.
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down
from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of
turning” (James 1:17).
“For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which
receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life
by one, Jesus Christ.)
Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to
condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the [FREE GIFT] came upon all
men unto justification of life.
For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the
obedience of one shall many be made righteous” (Romans 5:17-19).
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have [EVERLASTING LIFE]. For
God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world
through him might be saved” (John 3:16-17).
“[THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE ETERNAL
LIFE]” (John 3:15).
“For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the
dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But
every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are
Christ’s at his coming” (1 Corinthians 15:21-23).
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8)
says:
“For
as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son
quickeneth whom he will. For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all
judgment unto the Son: That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour
the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath
sent him. Verily, verily, I say unto you, [HE THAT HEARETH MY WORD, AND
BELIEVETH ON HIM THAT SENT ME, HATH EVERLASTING LIFE], and shall not come into
condemnation; but is [PASSED FROM DEATH UNTO LIFE]” (John 5:21-24).
