“Is Jesus really God?” or “Jesus is God”.
However, is this question and statement correct? The answer is NO (Revelation
1:1-3).
We must endure sound doctrine (2 Timothy 4:3-4) because the word of God
is pure (Proverbs 30:5).
“No man hath seen [GOD] at any time; [THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON], which is
in the bosom of the [FATHER], he hath declared him” (John 1:18).
“For there is [ONE GOD], and [ONE MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD AND MEN, THE MAN
CHRIST JESUS]: who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time”
(1 Timothy 2:5–6).
“For [GOD] so loved the world, that [HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON],
that [WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE]”
(John 3:16).
Now, this passage of the Holy Scriptures has and continues to elude many
people, as it is written: “IN the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with
God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1). The Holy Scriptures says: “…and the Word
was God”; and many people therefore state the Jesus is God. However, let us
read the entire verse again: “IN the beginning was the Word, and the Word was
with God, and the Word was God”: clearly it also states “..the Word was with
God…” and when we read on in verse 2, it states “[THE SAME WAS IN THE BEGINNING
WITH GOD]” (John 1:2).
Many people may find this confusing but, it is not because the Holy
Scriptures also states: “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the
Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one” (1 John 5:7).
God is seven Spirits (Revelation 4:5). God gave to his only begotten Son
without measure the seven Spirits (Romans 8:33-34) (Revelation 3:1).
The Apostle Paul provides further clarification when he best explained
of Jesus “who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be [EQUAL]
with God (Philippians 2:6).
However, The Father, is the most High (Genesis 14:18); did not become
flesh, and is still in the form of Spirit. A spirit does not have flesh and
bones (Luke 24:39).
The most High God sent the Word of God to this earth. “And the Word was
made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of [THE
ONLY BEGOTTEN] of the Father,) full of grace and truth” (John 1:14).
After Jesus was risen from the dead he was seen by Mary Magdalene who
said to him, saying: “Rabboni; which is to say, Master” (John 20:16).
“Jesus saith unto her, ‘Touch me not; for [I AM NOT YET ASCENDED TO MY
FATHER]: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto [MY FATHER,
AND YOUR FATHER; AND TO MY GOD, AND YOUR GOD]” (John 20:17).
JESUS is the ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD (John 3:15-18); “The Christ of
God” (Luke 9:20); the Word of God; the only begotten Son of God, the Lamb, King
of kings, and Lord of lords (Revelation 5:5-14, 6:16, 17:14, 19:11-16); the
faithful and true witness of God from before the world was created (Proverbs
8:26–31).
“Whosoever [DENIETH] the Son, [THE SAME HATH NOT] the Father” (1 John
2:23).
