GOD is LIGHT and JESUS is the LIGHT OF THE WORLD.
“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto
you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all” (1 John 1:5).
“Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his
servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? Let him trust in the name
of the LORD, and stay upon his God” (Isaiah 50:10).
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down
from the [FATHER OF LIGHTS], with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of
turning” (James 1:17).
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For
God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world
through him might be saved” (John 3:16-17).
“These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, [FATHER,
THE HOUR IS COME; GLORIFY THY SON], that thy Son also may glorify thee. [AS
THOU HAST GIVEN HIM POWER OVER ALL FLESH, THAT HE SHOULD GIVE ETERNAL LIFE TO
AS MANY AS THOU HAST GIVEN HIM]. And this is [LIFE ETERNAL], that they might
know thee [THE ONLY TRUE GOD, AND JESUS CHRIST], whom [THOU HAST SENT]” (John
17:1-3).
“For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the
Son: That all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that
honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father which hath sent him. [FOR AS THE
FATHER HATH LIFE IN HIMSELF; SO HATH HE GIVEN TO THE SON TO HAVE LIFE IN
HIMSELF]; and hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is
the Son of man” (John 5: 22–23, 26–27).
Jesus, the only begotten Son of God says: “I am the [LIGHT OF THE WORLD]:
he that [FOLLOWETH ME] shall not walk in darkness, but [SHALL HAVE THE LIGHT OF
LIFE]” (John 8:12).
As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world” (John 9:5).
“I am with you alway, even unto the [END OF THE WORLD]. Amen” (Matthew
28:20).
“Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name
of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Ephesians 5:20).
