DAY of the LORD | DAY of CHRIST
“This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad
in it” (Psalm 118:24).
Every day that passes by in this earth is one day closer to the end of
the world, and the return of our Lord, Savior and King Jesus (Matthew
13:37–43, 24:1-3).
“And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all
men every where to repent: Because he hath [APPOINTED A DAY], in the which he
will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained;
whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from
the dead” (Acts 17:30-31).
Jesus says: “But of that [DAY AND HOUR] knoweth no man, no, not the
angels of heaven, but my Father only” (Matthew 24:36).
“But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man
be” (Matthew 24:37).
“Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is
great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets”
(Luke 6:23).
“Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come”
(Matthew 24:42).
“NOW we beseech you, brethren, by the [COMING OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST],
and by our [GATHERING TOGETHER UNTO HIM], That ye be not soon shaken in mind,
or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as
that the [DAY OF CHRIST] is at hand” (2 Thessalonians 2:1-2).
