“IT is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises
unto thy name, O most High: To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning,
and thy faithfulness every night” (Psalm 92:1-2).
“My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I
direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. For thou art not a God that hath
pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee. The foolish shall
not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity. For thou, LORD,
wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield”
(Psalm 5:3-5, 12).
“The LORD is far from the wicked: but he [HEARETH THE PRAYER OF THE
RIGHTEOUS]” (Proverbs 15:29).
Our Lord JESUS says: “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must
worship him in spirit and in truth. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the
true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the
Father seeketh such to worship him.” (John 4:24, 23).
“And I say unto you, [ASK, AND IT SHALL BE GIVEN YOU; SEEK, AND YE SHALL
FIND; KNOCK, AND IT SHALL BE OPENED UNTO YOU]. For every one that asketh
receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be
opened” (Luke 11:9–10).
The Apostle Paul remined us to
“…pray without ceasing…” (1 Thessalonians 5:17) said: “Let us therefore
come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace
to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:14-16).
