P R A Y: “…pray without ceasing…” (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
Whatever we are facing this day:
-Unemployed and looking for employment;
-Not enough money to pay our bills;
-Little or no food to eat;
-Just lost a family member or loved one;
-Lonely and would like to get married;
-Problems in our household;
-Problems at work;
-Suffering illness;
-and so on.
Whatever we are facing this day we must pray to God in the name of Jesus
Christ in truth and in Spirit, and believe in our heart that our prayers will
be answered.
Our Lord, Savior and King Jesus Christ says: “When ye pray, use not vain
repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for
their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father
knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him” (Matthew 6:7-8).
“But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall
worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to
worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in
spirit and in truth” (John 4:23–24).
“And I say unto you, ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall
find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh
receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be
opened” (Luke 11:9–10).
The Apostle Paul remined us to
“…pray without ceasing…” (1 Thessalonians 5:17) said: “Let us therefore
come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace
to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:14-16).
