JESUS is COMING as a THIEF IN THE NIGHT (2 Peter 3:10) (1 Thessalonians 5:4–5).
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the
churches” (Revelation 3:22).
“Behold, [I COME AS A THIEF]. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth
his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame” (Revelation 16:15).
“[THE DAY OF THE LORD WILL COME AS A THIEF IN THE NIGHT]; in which the
heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with
fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up”
(2 Peter 3:10).
“[BUT YE, BRETHREN, ARE NOT IN DARKNESS, THAT THAT DAY SHOULD OVERTAKE
YOU AS A THIEF]. Ye are all the children of light” (1 Thessalonians 5:4–5).
“Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be
sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are
drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the
breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. [FOR
GOD HATH] not [APPOINTED US] to wrath, but [TO OBTAIN SALVATION BY OUR LORD
JESUS CHRIST]” (1 Thessalonians 5:6-9).
“[BE PATIENT THEREFORE, BRETHREN, UNTO THE COMING OF THE LORD]. Behold,
the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long
patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also
patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh” (James
5:7–8).
“[REJOICE YE IN THAT DAY], and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is
great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets”
(Luke 6:23).
“[BEHOLD, HE COMETH WITH CLOUDS]; and [EVERY EYE SHALL SEE HIM], and
they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because
of him. Even so, Amen” (Revelation 1:8).
