Do you love GOD or Money?
Anyone who says money or both must come to KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH.
“No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in
the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him” (John 1:18).
JESUS, the only begotten Son of God says: “No servant can serve two
masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will
hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon” (Luke
16:13).
Therefore, we cannot love God and money!
“For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted
after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many
sorrows” (1 Timothy 6:10).
To LOVE GOD is to LOVE the word of GOD.
Jesus further explains that we must not “Let the cares of this world,
and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in,
choke the word and it becometh unfruitful” (Mark 4:19). “Take heed, and beware
of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things
which he possesseth” (Luke 12:15).
By the word of God, we have been warned that the time will come when
many will not endure sound doctrine and will turn away their ears from the
truth, which will be turned into fables (2 Timothy 4:3–4).
Especially
in this present time, we are to be watchful in all things to keep at the
forefront of our daily lives the love of the word of God and not the love of
this world (Luke 4:4) (1 John 2:15–17).
