GOD IS THE EVERLASTING GOD IS GOOD (Psalm 106:48) (Matthew 19:17). God’s Elect must therefore always try our best to DO GOOD. “Depart from evil, and [DO GOOD; AND DWELL FOR EVERMORE]” (Psalms 37:27).
“[AND WE KNOW THAT ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD TO THEM THAT LOVE GOD], to them who are the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).
“[SURELY GOODNESS AND MERCY SHALL FOLLOW ME
ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE]: and [I WILL DWELL IN THE HOUSE] of the LORD [FOR
EVER]” (Psalm 23:6).
“[IN THE WAY OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IS LIFE]; and in
the pathway thereof there is no death” (Proverbs 12:28).
“[THE WAY OF LIFE IS ABOVE TO THE WISE], that
he may depart from hell beneath” (Proverbs 15:24).
“[FOR, LO, THEY THAT ARE FAR FROM THEE SHALL
PERISH]: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee. [BUT IT IS
GOOD FOR ME TO DRAW NEAR TO GOD]: I have put my [TRUST] in the Lord GOD, that I
may declare all thy works” (Psalm 73:27-28).
“Keep yourselves in the [LOVE OF GOD], looking
for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto [ETERNAL LIFE]” (Jude 1:21).
“[FOR SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE WORLD MEN
HAVE NOT HEARD, NOR PERCEIVED BY THE EAR, NEITHER HATH THE EYE SEEN], O God,
beside thee, what [HE HATH PREPARED FOR HIM THAT WAITETH FOR HIM]” (Isaiah
64:4).
“[OUR SOUL WAITETH] for the LORD: he is our
help and our shield” (Psalm 33:20). “It is good that a man should [BOTH HOPE
AND QUIETLY WAIT] for the [SALVATION] of the LORD” (Lamentation 3:26).
“Blessed be the LORD for [EVERMORE]. Amen, and
Amen” (Psalm 89:52).
