God is EVERLASTING and to serve God through Jesus Christ is to seek to obtain EVERLASTING LIFE in the World Without End with God (John 3:16-17) (Revelation 21”1-5; 22:1-6).

On the other hand, the prince of this world is on this earth for a short time, and to serve this world is to serve the gods of this world for fame, wealth and riches for a short time which is to seek to obtain EVERLASTING PUNISHMENT in the Lake of Fire (Revelation 13:1-7; 10-18; 14:11; 16:1-2; 10).

“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, [CHOOSE YOU THIS DAY WHOM YE WILL SERVE]; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: [BUT AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE, WE WILL SERVE] the LORD. And the people answered and said, [GOD FORBID THAT WE SHOULD FORSAKE] the LORD, to serve other gods” (Joshua 24:15-16).

“For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens” (Psalm 96:5).

“Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, [EVEN THEY SHALL PERISH FROM THE EARTH, AND FROM UNDER THESE HEAVENS]” (Jeremiah 10:11).

“Persecute and destroy them in anger from under the heavens of the LORD” (Lamentations 3:66).

“But the LORD is the true God, he is the [LIVING GOD, AND AN EVERLASTING KING]: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation” (Jeremiah 10:10).

“THE LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: [THE WORLD ALSO IS STABLISHED, THAT IT CANNOT BE MOVED].Thy throne is [ESTABLISHED OF OLD: THOU ART FROM EVERLASTING]” (Psalm 93:1-2).

“Blessed be the LORD God of Israel [FROM EVERLASTING TO EVERLASTING]: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD” (Psalm 106:48).

  GOD is a LIVING GOD: “[FOR HE IS NOT A GOD OF THE DEAD, BUT OF THE LIVING]: for all live unto him” (Luke 20:38). GOD GAVE HUMANS THE BREATH OF LIFE, BUT THEN CAME DEATH. At the apex of time, Adam and Eve did not BELIEVE the word of GOD: the TRUTH (Genesis 2:16-17, 3:2–3) and instead believed the LIES of the devil, aka Satan (Genesis 3:4), that “crooked serpent” (Job 26:10). As a consequence ALL human beings were CONDEMNED TO DEATH. However, God then sent his only begotten Son Jesus, at the right time, in the fullness of time, to bring and to spread the WORD OF LIFE: “[THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE]” (John 3:15). Give God the FATHER THANKS for ALL THINGS and for giving his ONLY BEGOTTEN SON (John 3:16-18).

If we know to say “Thank you” to another human being when an act of kindness is done for us, then we MUST GIVE THANKS TO GOD because he CREATED ALL THINGS (Genesis 1:1). “For all the earth is mine” (Exodus 19:5).
