JESUS IS THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD! We are therefore either LIVING IN THE LIGHT or Darkness (John 3:16-21)?
JESUS says: “[I AM COME A LIGHT INTO THE WORLD, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH ON ME SHOULD NOT ABIDE IN DARKNESS]’” (John 12:46).
“[I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD: HE THAT FOLLOWETH ME SHALL]
not walk in darkness, but shall have the [LIGHT OF LIFE]” (John 8:12).
“As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world”
(John 9:5).
The disciple John said: “This then is the message which we
have heard of him, and declare unto you, that [GOD IS LIGHT], and in him is no
darkness at all” (1 John 1:5).
“[FOR EVERY ONE THAT DOETH EVIL HATETH THE LIGHT], neither
cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But [HE THAT DOETH
TRUTH COMETH TO THE LIGHT], that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are
wrought in God” (John 3:20-21).
“[AND THIS IS THE CONDEMNATION], that [LIGHT] is come into
the world, [AND MEN LOVED DARKNESS RATHER THAN LIGHT], because their deeds were
evil. [FOR EVERY ONE THAT DOETH EVIL
HATETH THE LIGHT, NEITHER COMETH TO THE LIGHT], lest his deeds should be
reproved. [BUT HE THAT DOETH TRUTH COMETH TO THE LIGHT], that his deeds may be
made manifest, that they are wrought in God” (John 3:19-21).
The Apostle Paul also
said: “[AND HAVE NO FELLOWSHIP WITH THE UNFRUITFUL WORKS OF DARKNESS, BUT
RATHER REPROVE THEM]. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are
done of them in secret. [BUT ALL THINGS THAT ARE REPROVED ARE MADE MANIFEST BY
THE LIGHT: FOR WHATSOEVER DOTH MAKE MANIFEST IS LIGHT]” (Ephesians 5:10–13).
“[WHO IS AMONG YOU THAT FEARETH] the LORD, that obeyeth the
voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? Let him
trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God” (Isaiah 50:10).
“[LIGHT IS SOWN FOR THE RIGHTEOUS], and gladness for the
upright in heart. Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the
remembrance of his holiness” (Psalm 97:11-12).
“They that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the
firmament; and they that turn many to [RIGHTEOUSNESS] as the stars forever and
ever” (Daniel 12:3).
“The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their
inheritance shall be forever” (Psalm 37:18).
On the Last day, the Day of Judgment,
before time ends: “[TRUTH] shall spring out of the earth; and [RIGHTEOUSNESS]
shall look down from heaven” (Psalm 85:11).
“Blessed be the LORD, [WHO DAILY LOADETH US WITH BENEFITS],
even the [GOD OF OUR SALVATION]. Selah” (Psalm 68:19).
“Blessed be the LORD God of Israel [FROM EVERLASTING, AND TO
EVERLASTING]. Amen, and Amen” (Psalm 41:13).
