To DAILY take up the CROSS OF JESUS is to ALWAYS have the POWER OF GOD: “[FOR THE PREACHING OF THE CROSS] is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are [SAVED] it is the [POWER OF GOD]” (1 Corinthians 1:19).
“For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to [SAVE THEM THAT BELIEVE]” (1 Corinthians 1:21).
We take up
the CROSS because we BELIEVE GOD’s promise of ETERNAL LIFE which is in HIS ONLY
BEGOTTEN SON: “That whosoever [BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD] not perish, but [HAVE
ETERNAL LIFE]” (John 3:15).
Furthermore,
we know that should the end of our lifetime come we will be raised from the
dead by the same POWER OF GOD that raised JESUS from the dead after his
crucifixion and death on Calvary (Luke 23:3).
“Knowing
that Christ being [RAISED FROM THE DEAD DIETH NO MORE]; [DEATH HATH NO MORE
DOMINION OVER HIM]” (Romans 6:9).
Our Lord Jesus
says: “‘He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.
And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me” (John 12:44-45).
“Verily,
verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall [NEVER SEE DEATH]”
(John 8:51).
“[I AM THE
RESURRECTION, AND THE LIFE]: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet
shall he live; and [WHOSOEVER LIVETH AND BELIEVETH IN ME SHALL NEVER DIE]”
(John 11:25–26).
“Verily,
verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall
hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. For as the
Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in
himself; And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is
the Son of man. [MARVEL NOT AT THIS: FOR THE HOUR IS COMING, IN THE WHICH ALL
THAT ARE IN THE GRAVES SHALL HEAR HIS VOICE, AND SHALL COME FORTH; THEY THAT
HAVE DONE GOOD, UNTO THE RESURRECTION OF LIFE]; and they that have done evil,
unto the resurrection of damnation” (John 5:25-29).
“[FOR AS THE
FATHER RAISETH UP THE DEAD, AND QUICKENETH THEM; EVEN SO THE SON QUICKENETH
WHOM HE WILL]. For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment
unto the Son: [THAT ALL MEN SHOULD HONOUR THE SON, EVEN AS THEY HONOUR THE
FATHER]. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent
him. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and [BELIEVETH ON
HIM THAT SENT ME, HATH EVERLASTING LIFE, AND SHALL NOT COME INTO CONDEMNATION;
BUT IS PASSED FROM DEATH UNTO LIFE]” (John 5:21-24).
“[I AM THE
DOOR]: [BY ME IF ANY MAN ENTER IN, HE SHALL BE SAVED], and shall go in and out,
and find pasture” (John 10:9).
“Verily,
verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall [NEVER SEE DEATH]”
(John 8:51).
“[FEAR NONE
OF THOSE THINGS WHICH THOU SHALT SUFFER]: behold, the devil shall cast some of
you into [PRISON, THAT YE MAY BE TRIED; AND YE SHALL HAVE TRIBULATION TEN
DAYS]: [BE THOU FAITHFUL UNTO DEATH], and I will give thee a [CROWN OF LIFE]”
(Revelation 2:10).
