GOD sent JESUS to be the propitiation for the sins of the world (John 1:29) (1 John 2:2).

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved” (John 3:16-17).

“Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins” (1 John 4:10).

On the night before the day of his crucifixion, Jesus was very troubled in the last hours the of his mission to complete as commanded by his Father (John 3:16-18, 6:38).

Jesus said: “Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour” (John 12:27).

Jesus knew that the time had come to fulfil his purpose, but as a human being would have, he had difficulties facing this reality. However, he knew that it had to be done, as the entire survival of humankind rested on the successful completion of the mission which his Father sent him to accomplish.

In spite of the fact that Jesus knew the time had come, on the night before, he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and was very heavy and sorrowful in his heart (Matthew 26:37). Jesus said to them, “My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me” (Matthew 26:38). Thereafter, he went to pray three times to his Father.

Jesus knew the time had come to fulfil the word of God, the will of his Father who sent him to be the propitiation for the sins of the world (John 1:29) (1 John 2:2, 4:10).

“For there is [ONE GOD, AND ONE MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD AND MEN, THE MAN CHRIST JESUS: WHO GAVE HIMSELF A RANSOM FOR ALL], to be testified in due time” (1 Timothy 2:5–6).

On the next day, Jesus was crucified and died for all humankind.

In glory of the FATHER, the SON and the HOLY SPIRIT. Amen.

God is Good. “THERE IS NONE GOOD BUT ONE, THAT IS, GOD:” (Matthew 19:17), says Jesus, the Only Begotten Son of God.

The POWER OF GOD and HIS ONLY BEFOTTEN SON (Genesis 1:1-31) (John 1:1-4, 14, 3:16-18): Human beings who die in JESUS CHRIST NEVER SEE DEATH: BELIEVE THIS! (John 8:51, 10:19, 27-30).

Give God the FATHER THANKS for ALL THINGS and for giving his ONLY BEGOTTEN SON (John 3:16-18).
