RIGHTEOUSNESS versus Wickedness?

“The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but [HE LOVETH HIM THAT FOLLOWETH AFTER RIGHTEOUSNESS]” (Proverbs 15:8-9).

Every human being must take account of the magnitude of what is expected of us in our lifetime on this earth. We must look back at  the old world to see how God destroyed the earth by a great flood because of WICKEDNESS!

“God saw that the [WICKEDNESS OF MAN WAS GREAT IN THE EARTH], and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart” (Genesis 6:5–6).

“[For if God [SPARED NOT THE ANGELS THAT SINNED, BUT CAST THEM DOWN TO HELL], and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

And [SPARED NOT THE OLD WORLD, BUT SAVED NOAH THE EIGHTH PERSON, A PREACHER OF RIGHTEOUSNESS], bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

And [DELIVERED JUST LOT], vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:

(For that [RIGHTEOUS MAN DWELLING AMONG THEM], in seeing and hearing, vexed his [RIGHTEOUS SOUL FROM DAY TO DAY] with their unlawful deeds;)” (2 Peter 2:4-8).

Therefore, we must do our utmost best to FOLLOW AFTER RIGHTEOUSNESS (Psalm 92:12)..

“For the [RIGHTEOUS] LORD loveth [RIGHTEOUSNESS]; his countenance doth behold the upright” (Psalm 11:7).

“The LORD liveth, [IN TRUTH, IN JUDGMENT, AND IN RIGHTEOUSNESS]” (Jeremiah 4:2).

“They that [FOLLOWETH AFTER RIGHTEOUSNESS] and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honor” (Proverbs 21:21). 

“Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on [ETERNAL LIFE]” (1 Timothy 6:19).

“[TRUTH] shall spring out of the earth; and [RIGHTEOUSNESS] shall look down from heaven” (Psalm 85:11).
