LIGHT of the GOSPEL is the GOSPEL of CHRIST.
Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles who preached the gospel of Jesus
Christ said: “And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of
man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: [THAT YOUR FAITH
SHOULD NOT STAND IN THE WISDOM OF MEN, BUT IN THE POWER OF GOD]” (1 Corinthians
2:4-5).
“For I am not ashamed of the [GOSPEL OF CHRIST]: for [IT IS THE POWER OF
GOD UNTO SALVATION TO EVERYONE THAT BELIEVETH]; to the Jew first, and also to
the Greek” (Romans 1:16).
“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but
unto us which are saved it is the [POWER OF GOD]” (1 Corinthians 1:19).
“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which
believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image
of God, should shine unto them.
For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves
your servants for Jesus’ sake.
[FOR GOD, WHO COMMANDED THE LIGHT TO SHINE OUT OF DARKNESS], hath shined
in our hearts, [TO GIVE THE LIGHT OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE GLORY OF GOD IN THE
FACE OF JESUS CHRIST]” (2 Corinthians 4:3-6).
“The
grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen” (2 Thessalonians 3:18).
