“Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name” (Jeremiah 33:2).

“Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD” (Psalm 35:11).

“The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate” (Proverbs 7:13).

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding” (Proverbs 9:10).

“The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil” (Proverbs 19:23).

“By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil” (Proverbs 16:6).

“The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death” (Proverbs 14:27).

“Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. “Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him” (Psalm 33:8). “Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling” (Psalm 2:11).

“Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling that ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ” (Philippians 2:12, 1:10).

“THE LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1).

Jesus Christ, only begotten of the Father (John 1:14) says: “Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32).
“It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that feareth God shall come forth of them all” (Ecclesiastes 7:18).
