“The LORD is far from the wicked: but [HE HEARETH THE PRAYER OF THE RIGHTEOUS]” (Proverbs 15:29).
“HEAR my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come unto thee. Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily” (Psalm 102:1-2).
“[CALL UNTO ME, AND I WILL ANSWER THEE], and
shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not” (Jeremiah 33:3).
“My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O
LORD; in the morning will I direct [MY PRAYER] unto thee, and will look up”
(Psalm 5:3).
The Holy Scriptures says: Be not rash with thy
mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God
is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few”
(Ecclesiastes 5:2).
JESUS, the Only Begotten Son of God says: “[WHEN
YE PRAY, USE NOT VAIN REPETITIONS], as the heathen do: for they think that they
shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: [FOR
YOUR FATHER KNOWETH WHAT THINGS YE HAVE NEED OF, BEFORE YE ASK HIM]” (Matthew
6:7-8).
“And I say unto you, ask, and it shall be
given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
[FOR EVERY ONE THAT ASKETH RECEIVETH; AND HE THAT SEEKETH FINDETH; AND TO HIM
THAT KNOCKETH IT SHALL BE OPENED]” (Luke 11:9–10).
“And whatsoever ye shall [ASK IN MY NAME],
that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son” (John 14:13).
“[AFTER THIS MANNER THEREFORE PRAY YE]: Our
Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth,
as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our
debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver
us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.
Amen” (Matthew 6:9-13).
