TRUST ONLY IN GOD.
“Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we
ourselves” (Psalm 100:3).
“It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. It is
better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes” (Psalm 118:8-9).
“Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is
no help. His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day
his thoughts perish. Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose
hope is in the LORD his God” (Psalm 146:3-5).
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own
understanding. In all thy ways
acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
“The eyes of the LORD are upon
the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. The righteous cry, and the
LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles” (Psalm 34:15, 17).
“To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine”
(Psalm 33:19).
“The
LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that
trust in him” (Nahum 1:7).
