P R A Y without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
“The LORD is far from the wicked: but he [HEARETH THE PRAYER OF THE
RIGHTEOUS]” (Proverbs 15:29).
Our FATHER we PRAY in the name of your beloved Son JESUS.
We pray for those who are unemployed, in financial distress, lonely,
weary, frightened about life circumstances or simply disillusioned about life;
We pray for those who are suffering from illness or sickness for their
speedy recovery;
We pray for those who are hungry and homeless in need of food and
shelter;
We pray for those among us who are in a position to help others who are
in need of food, clothing, shelter and other basic needs to make through this
day.
Many throughout time have doubted the power of prayer and said, in
essence, “This is easier said than done.”
However, Jesus emphasized, saying: “And I say unto you, ask, and it
shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto
you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to
him that knocketh it shall be opened” (Luke 11:9–10).
We must be strong and pray to God in Jesus’ name. Also, be reminded what
Jesus also said: “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him
in spirit and in truth” (John 4:23–24).
