A world of UNRIGHTEOUSNESS (Luke 16:9).
What kind of world do we live in where according to recent statistics
that since the 2008 financial crisis there have been more billionaires created
than at anytime in this world, and yet, in a recent research report over 1.4
million children starved to death last year?
What kind of world do we live in where a recent article headlined: “World's
eight richest people have same wealth as poorest 50%”, yet there are over one
billion people living on the edge of poverty in this world?
Clearly, something is wrong with such a disparity with a few people holding
such massive amounts of wealth compared to excessive large numbers of people having
no wealth!
Clearly something is not RIGHT!
The Apostle Paul expressed, said: “For we wrestle not against flesh and
blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the
darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians
6:12). “For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil” (Romans
13:3).
BE WISE AND FOLLOW JESUS CHRIST!
Our Lord Jesus says: “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth,
where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal.
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth
corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal. For where your
treasure is, there will your heart be also” (Matthew 6:19-21).
“Woe unto you that are rich; for ye have received your consolation”
(Luke 6:24). “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world,
and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”
(Mark 8:36-37).
James, the brother of Jesus said: “Whosoever therefore will be a friend
of the world is an enemy of God” (James 4:4). “Hath not God chosen the [POOR OF
THIS WORLD RICH IN FAITH], and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to
them that love him?” (James 2:5).
”The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell
beneath” (Proverbs 15:24).
“Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth
from death” (Proverbs 11:4).
