FEAR OF GOD or Fear of the world? [FEAR GOD, AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS: FOR THIS IS THE WHOLE DUTY OF MAN]” (Ecclesiastes 12:13–14).
GOD’S ELECT the CHILDREN OF GOD have nothing to FEAR in this world but GOD our FATHER in HEAVEN: FEAR ONLY GOD!
“[IT IS A FEARFUL THING TO FALL INTO THE HANDS OF THE
LIVING GOD]” (Hebrews 11:31).
“THE LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the
LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: [THE WORLD
ALSO IS STABLISHED, THAT IT CANNOT BE MOVED].Thy throne is [ESTABLISHED OF OLD:
THOU ART FROM EVERLASTING]” (Psalm 93:1-2).
“[FEAR BEFORE HIM, ALL THE EARTH]: [THE WORLD ALSO
SHALL BE STABLE, THAT IT BE NOT MOVED]. Let the heavens be glad, and let the
earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The LORD reigneth” (1
Chronicles 16: 30-31).
“HAVING therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let
us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting
holiness in the [FEAR OF GOD]” (2 Corinthians 7:1).
What does it mean to FEAR GOD?
“[FOR GOD HATH NOT GIVEN US THE SPIRIT OF FEAR]; but
of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7).
“[THE SECRET] of the LORD [IS WITH THEM THAT FEAR HIM];
and he will shew them his covenant” (Psalm 25:14).
“[THE FEAR] of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and
arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate” (Proverbs 7:13).
“[THE FEAR] of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom:
and the knowledge of the holy is understanding” (Proverbs 9:10).
“[THE FEAR] of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that
hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil” (Proverbs
19:23).
“[THE FEAR] of the LORD is a fountain of life, to
depart from the snares of death” (Proverbs 14:27).
“[IT IS GOOD THAT THOU SHOULDEST TAKE HOLD OF THIS];
yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: [FOR HE THAT FEARETH GOD SHALL
COME FORTH OF THEM ALL]” (Ecclesiastes 7:17-18).
“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: [FEAR
GOD, AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS: FOR THIS IS THE WHOLE DUTY OF MAN]. For God
shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be
good, or whether it be evil” (Ecclesiastes 12:13–14).
Our Lord JESUS, the only begotten Son of God says:
“[FEAR NOT, LITTLE FLOCK]; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you
the kingdom” (Luke 12:32). “[I AM WITH YOU ALWAY, EVEN UNTO THE END OF THE
WORLD]. Amen” (Matthew 28:20).
