Believe not only in GOD; believe also in JESUS CHRIST.

Throughout ages of time, and to this day, it is said: “I believe in God.” But it is not enough to believe in God. James, the brother of Jesus, put this into perspective when he said, “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble” (James 2:19).

Therefore, it is not enough to say, “I believe in God.” That, in and of itself, is not enough to obtain the reward of inheritance of eternal life at the end of time. We must also believe in the Word of God. To believe in the Word of God is to believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God (Matthew 16:16) (John 1:1-3, 3:16-18).

Jesus Christ says: “Search the Scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life” (John 5:39–40).

“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him” (John 3:36).
“LET not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me” (John 14:1).

  GOD is a LIVING GOD: “[FOR HE IS NOT A GOD OF THE DEAD, BUT OF THE LIVING]: for all live unto him” (Luke 20:38). GOD GAVE HUMANS THE BREATH OF LIFE, BUT THEN CAME DEATH. At the apex of time, Adam and Eve did not BELIEVE the word of GOD: the TRUTH (Genesis 2:16-17, 3:2–3) and instead believed the LIES of the devil, aka Satan (Genesis 3:4), that “crooked serpent” (Job 26:10). As a consequence ALL human beings were CONDEMNED TO DEATH. However, God then sent his only begotten Son Jesus, at the right time, in the fullness of time, to bring and to spread the WORD OF LIFE: “[THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE]” (John 3:15). Give God the FATHER THANKS for ALL THINGS and for giving his ONLY BEGOTTEN SON (John 3:16-18).

If we know to say “Thank you” to another human being when an act of kindness is done for us, then we MUST GIVE THANKS TO GOD because he CREATED ALL THINGS (Genesis 1:1). “For all the earth is mine” (Exodus 19:5).
