To one day see GOD we must not only BELIEVE IN GOD but also BELIEVE the word of GOD and BELIEVE in the Word of God the ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD: “[NO MAN HATH SEEN GOD] at any time; [THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON], which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him” (John 1:18).
To believe in God and NOT believe the word of God is a PARADOX! How can one BELIEVE IN GOD WHO IS NOT SEEN and NOT BELIEVE the word of GOD which can be seen and heard on this earth?
To this day, many people still only say: “I believe in God.” But
IT IS NOT ENOUGH TO BELIEVE IN GOD. James, the brother of Jesus, put this into
perspective when he said, “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest
well: the devils also believe, and tremble” (James 2:19).
“[FOR THERE IS ONE GOD, AND ONE MEDIATOR] between God and
men, the man Christ Jesus: who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified
in due time” (1 Timothy 2:5–6).
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God” (John 1:1–2).
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the
glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” (John
1:14).
The Word of God, made flesh and full of grace and truth, is
the only begotten Son of God: JESUS.
If we do not believe that Jesus is the only begotten Son of
God, then we do not believe in the Word of God. Hence, we do not believe the
word God and surely, we do not believe in God!
“Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father” (1
John 2:23).
“Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ?
He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son” (1 John 2:22).
“For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess
not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an
antichrist” (2 John 1:7).
“Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God
dwelleth in him, and he in God” (1 John 4:15).
“The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into
his hand. [HE THAT BELIEVETH ON THE SON HATH EVERLASTING LIFE]: and he that
believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him”
(John 3:35-36).
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his [ONLY BEGOTTEN
SON], that whosoever [BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING
LIFE]. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that
the world through him might be [SAVED]. He that believeth on him is not
condemned: but [HE THAT BELIEVETH NOT IS CONDEMNED ALREADY, BECAUSE HE HATH NOT
BELIEVED IN THE NAME OF THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD]” (John 3:16-18).
“[JESUS CHRIST THE SAME YESTERDAY, AND TODAY, AND FOREVER]”
(Hebrews 13:8), says: “LET not your heart be troubled: [YE BELIEVE IN GOD,
BELIEVE ALSO IN ME]” (John 14:1).
“[NO MAN CAN COME TO ME], except the Father which hath sent
me draw him: [AND I WILL RAISE HIM UP AT THE LAST DAY]” (John 6:44).
“[IN MY FATHER’S HOUSE ARE MANY MANSIONS]: if it were not so,
I would have told you. [I GO TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU].
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again,
and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
[AND WHITHER I GO YE KNOW, AND THE WAY YE KNOW].
Thomas saith unto him, ‘Lord, we know not whither thou goest;
and how can we know the way?’
Jesus saith unto him, ‘[I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE
LIFE: NO MAN COMETH UNTO THE FATHER, BUT BY ME]’” (John 14:2-6).
“[HE THAT REJECTETH ME, AND RECEIVETH NOT MY WORDS], hath one
that judgeth him: [THE WORD THAT I HAVE SPOKEN, THE SAME
SHALL JUDGE HIM IN THE LAST DAY]” (John 12:48).
“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but [MY WORDS SHALL NOT
PASS AWAY]” (Matthew 24:35).
“I am with you alway, [EVEN UNTO THE END OF THE WORLD]. Amen”
(Matthew 28:20).
