The CROSS OF JESUS is the ‘PASSPORT’ from death to LIFE; from this world to the WORLD WITHOUT END; from this earth to NEW HEAVENS AND A NEW EARTH (Isaiah 65:17-18) (John 1:1-4, 14; 3:15-18; 11:25–26; 14:6) (Revelation 21:1-5).
Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles who preached the gospel of Jesus Christ said: “And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the [SPIRIT AND OF POWER]: [THAT YOUR FAITH SHOULD NOT STAND IN THE WISDOM OF MEN, BUT IN THE POWER OF GOD]” (1 Corinthians 2:4-5).
“For I am
not ashamed of the [GOSPEL OF CHRIST]: for [IT IS THE POWER OF GOD UNTO
SALVATION TO EVERYONE THAT BELIEVETH]; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek”
(Romans 1:16).
“[FOR THE
PREACHING OF THE CROSS IS TO] them that perish foolishness; but unto [US WHICH
ARE SAVED IT IS THE [POWER OF GOD]” (1 Corinthians 1:19).
“[BUT IF OUR
GOSPEL BE HID, IT IS HID TO THEM THAT ARE LOST]:
In whom the
god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, [LEST THE
LIGHT OF THE GLORIOUS GOSPEL OF CHRIST, WHO IS THE IMAGE OF GOD, SHOULD SHINE
UNTO THEM].
For we
preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants
for Jesus’ sake.
[FOR GOD,
WHO COMMANDED THE LIGHT TO SHINE OUT OF DARKNESS], hath shined in our hearts, [TO
GIVE THE LIGHT OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE GLORY OF GOD IN THE FACE OF JESUS
CHRIST]” (2 Corinthians 4:3-6).
“The grace
of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen” (2 Thessalonians 3:18).
