REDEMPTION: Be prepared to LEAVE FOREVER on the LAST DAY.
Jesus
says: “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him:
and I will raise him up at the [LAST DAY]” (John 6:44).
“For,
behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread
upon the high places of the earth. And the mountains shall be molten under him,
and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that
are poured down a steep place” (Micah 1:3–4).
“The
day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall
pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat,
the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up” (2 Peter
3:10).
“But
ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a
thief. Ye are all the children of light” (1 Thessalonians 5:4–5).
“Therefore
let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that
sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith
and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed
us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thessalonians
5:6-9).
“And
it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall
be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the
LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call” (Joel 2:32).
“Be
patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the
husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience
for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient;
stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh” (James 5:7–8).
“Watch
therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man
cometh” (Matthew 25:13).
“Take
ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is” (Mark 13:33).
“Watch
ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to [ESCAPE] all
these things that shall come to pass, and to [STAND] before the Son of man”
(Luke 21:34–36).
