KEEP always PEACEFUL AND LOVE YOUR ENEMIES (Matthew 5:38-39).
“FRET not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity” (Psalm 37:1).
Our Lord Jesus says: “Ye have heard that it
hath been said, ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:’ But I say unto
you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek,
turn to him the other also” (Matthew 5:38-39).
“But I say unto you, [LOVE YOUR ENEMIES],
bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them
which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of
your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and
on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust” (Matthew 5:44-45).
“The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth,
because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil” (John 7:7).
“If the world hate you, ye know that it hated
me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own:
but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world,
therefore the world hateth you” (John 15:18-19).
“[PEACE I LEAVE WITH YOU, MY PEACE I GIVE UNTO
YOU]: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid’” (John 14:27).
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in
me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good
cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
“I am with you alway, even unto the end of the
world. Amen” (Matthew 28:20).
