To OVERCOME this world human beings must be born of God (Revelation 20:11-15). “For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God” (1 Corinthians 3:19).
“And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that [DOETH THE WILL OF GOD ABIDETH FOREVER]” (1 John 2:17).
The disciple John also explained, said: “[WHO
IS HE THAT OVERCOMETH THE WORLD, BUT HE THAT BELIEVETH THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF
GOD? THIS IS HE THAT CAME BY WATER AND BLOOD, EVEN JESUS CHRIST; NOT BY WATER
ONLY, BUT BY WATER AND BLOOD. AND IT IS THE SPIRIT THAT BEARETH WITNESS,
BECAUSE THE SPIRIT IS TRUTH]” (1 John 5:5-6).
“[FOR WHATSOEVER IS BORN OF GOD OVERCOMETH THE
WORLD]: and [THIS IS THE VICTORY THAT OVERCOMETH THE WORLD], [EVEN OUR FAITH]”
(1 John 5:4).
“In this the [CHILDREN OF GOD] are manifest,
and the children of the devil: [WHOSOEVER DOETH NOT RIGHTEOUSNESS IS NOT OF
GOD], neither he that loveth not his brother” (1 John 3:10).
“Hereby know ye the [SPIRIT OF GOD]: [EVERY
SPIRIT THAT CONFESSETH THAT JESUS CHRIST IS COME IN THE FLESH IS OF GOD]:” (1
John 4:2).
“[HEREBY KNOW WE THAT WE DWELL IN HIM, AND HE
IN US, BECAUSE HE HATH GIVEN US OF HIS SPIRIT]” (1 John 4:13).
“[WHOSOEVER SHALL CONFESS THAT JESUS IS THE
SON OF GOD, GOD DWELLETH IN HIM, AND HE IN GOD]” (1 John 4:15).
“[AND EVERY SPIRIT THAT CONFESSETH NOT] that
Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this [IS THAT SPIRIT OF
ANTICHRIST], whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is
it in the world” (1 John 4:3).
“Hereby know we the [SPIRIT OF TRUTH], and the
spirit of error” (1 John 4:5).
“They are of the world: therefore speak they
of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God
heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us” (1 John 4:6).
“[YE ARE OF GOD, LITTLE CHILDREN], and have
overcome them: because [GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN YOU], than he that is in the
world” (1 John 4:4).
