PEACE OF GOD or World Peace?
Is there going to be world peace in 2020?
Every year that passes by in this world into a new year, the ambitious goal is that one day there will be world peace.
The Apostle Paul expressly said, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12).
“For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil” (Romans 13:3).
The god of this world, the prince of this world, the prince of the power of the air, the dragon, that old serpent, the Devil, also known as Satan, the wicked one, the fallen once anointed angel, Lucifer, and all his fallen angels which are locked in chains of darkness continue to deceive humans into believing that one day there is going to be a New World order which will usher in world peace on this earth.
Do not fall into the web of deceit and lies of the prince of this world “because he knoweth that he hath but a short time” (Revelation 12:12).
“[FOR WHEN THEY SHALL SAY, PEACE AND SAFETY; THEN SUDDEN DESTRUCTION
COMETH UPON THEM], as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not
escape” (1 Thessalonians 5:3). “Behold, their valiant ones shall cry without:
the ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly” (Isaiah 33:7).
“The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the
pillars of it. Selah. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up
another” (Psalm 75:3, 7).
“We look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:18).
Seek the PEACE that is above: Seek the PEACE OF GOD.
“And the [PEACE OF GOD], which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7).
“And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thessalonians 5:23).
“And let the [PEACE OF GOD RULE IN YOUR HEARTS], to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord” (Colossians 3:15-16).
“Now the [GOD OF PEACE] be with you all. Amen” (Romans 15:33).
