We must DAILY take up THE CROSS OF JESUS CHRIST and be ON GUARD because both seen and unseen ENEMIES OF THE CROSS are EVERYWHERE in this world (Luke 9:23) (Ephesians 6:12) (Philippians 3:18–19).

Peter, a disciple of JESUS said: “[BE SOBER, BE VIGILANT]; because your adversary the Devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8).

The Apostle Paul expressly said: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12).

“[FOR RULERS ARE NOT A TERROR] to good works, but [TO THE EVIL]” (Romans 13:3).

“[FOR MANY WALK, OF WHOM] I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they [ARE THE ENEMIES OF THE CROSS OF CHRIST]: whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, [WHO MIND EARTHLY THINGS]” (Philippians 3:18–19).

“[WHEREFORE TAKE UNTO YOU THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD, THAT YE MAY BE ABLE TO WITHSTAND IN THE EVIL DAY], and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; [ABOVE ALL, TAKING THE SHIELD OF FAITH], wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. [AND TAKE THE HELMET OF SALVATION, AND THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, WHICH IS THE WORD OF GOD]” (Ephesians 6:13-17).

“For ye are all the children of God by [FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS]” (Galatians 3:24).

“For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God” (1 Corinthians 3:19).

“For it is written, ‘I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.’ [FOR THE PREACHING OF THE CROSS IS TO THEM THAT PERISH FOOLISHNESS; BUT UNTO US WHICH ARE SAVED IT IS THE POWER OF GOD]” (1 Corinthians 1:18-19).

Our Lord JESUS says: “[IF ANY MAN WILL COME AFTER ME], [LET HIM DENY HIMSELF], and [TAKE UP HIS CROSS DAILY], and [FOLLOW ME]” (Luke 9:23).

“[AND HE THAT TAKETH NOT HIS CROSS, AND FOLLOWETH AFTER ME, IS NOT WORTHY OF ME]” (Matthew 10:38).

“In the world [YE SHALL HAVE TRIBULATION]: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

“[FEAR NOT, LITTLE FLOCK]; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32).

“[I AM WITH YOU ALWAY, EVEN UNTO THE END OF THE WORLD]. Amen” (Matthew 28:20).
