GOD is the ONLY P O W E R.
“God
hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God”
(Psalm 62:11).
“GOD
standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.How long
will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
Defend
the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the
poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
They
know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the
foundations of the earth are out of course.
I
have said, ;Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye
shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.’
Arise,
O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations” (Psalm 82:8).
“O
earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD” (Jeremiah 22:29).
“Look
unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is
none else” (Isaiah 45:22).
“Let
every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God:
the powers that be are ordained of God” (Romans 13:1).
“For
if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and
delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
And
spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of
righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
And
turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an
overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
And
delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
(For
that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his
righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)” (2 Peter 2:4-8).
