Deceitfulness of riches

Every day in this world it may seem that only those with riches and wealth are winning. How often have were heard or seen written these words: “I want to be rich and famous?” Today, with the explosion of reality TV, this is very much apparent from the long lines of people waiting to be auditioned for a chance to get rich and famous. However seemingly glamorous, gratifying, and glitzy such images may appear, it is by no means a paradigm of life because we cannot serve God and money (Matthew 6:24).

We must not be deceived by riches, and must ensure that we are anchored in the knowledge of truth by the word of God to shun this faux sense of life in this world because God will make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery of life, which is hidden for us, the hope of glory at the end of time (Colossians 1:27).

Our confidence and trust in the word of God must be rock solid; we must not as Jesus expressed to “let the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word and it becometh unfruitful” (Mark 4:19). “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ” (Colossians 3:23–24).

God is Good. “THERE IS NONE GOOD BUT ONE, THAT IS, GOD:” (Matthew 19:17), says Jesus, the Only Begotten Son of God.

The POWER OF GOD and HIS ONLY BEFOTTEN SON (Genesis 1:1-31) (John 1:1-4, 14, 3:16-18): Human beings who die in JESUS CHRIST NEVER SEE DEATH: BELIEVE THIS! (John 8:51, 10:19, 27-30).

Give God the FATHER THANKS for ALL THINGS and for giving his ONLY BEGOTTEN SON (John 3:16-18).
