“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all” (1 John 1:5).

“And this is the record, that God [HATH GIVEN TO US ETERNAL LIFE, AND THIS LIFE] is in his Son” (1 John 5:11).

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved” (John 3:16-17).

JESUS CHRIST says: “‘He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. [I AM COME A LIGHT INTO THE WORLD, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH ON ME SHOULD NOT ABIDE IN DARKNESS]’” (John 12:44–46).

“I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have [THE LIGHT OF LIFE]” (John 8:12).

“As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world” (John 9:5).

“[IF ANY MAN WILL COME AFTER ME], [LET HIM DENY HIMSELF], and [TAKE UP HIS CROSS DAILY], and [FOLLOW ME]” (Luke 9:23).

“And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me” (Matthew 10:38).

“He that loveth his life shall lose it; and [HE THAT HATETH HIS LIFE IN THIS WORLD SHALL KEEP IT UNTO LIFE ETERNAL]” (Matthew 12:25).

“[NO MAN CAN COME TO ME], except the Father which hath sent me draw him: [AND I WILL RAISE HIM UP AT THE LAST DAY]” (John 6:44).

“I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen” (Matthew 28:20).
