The Apostle Paul said: “[EXAMINE YOURSELVES,
WHETHER YE BE IN THE FAITH; PROVE YOUR OWN SELVES]. Know ye not your own
selves, [HOW THAT JESUS CHRIST IS IN YOU]?” (2 Corinthians 13:5).
“[WHO HATH SAVED US, AND CALLED US WITH AN
HOLY CALLING], not according to our works, but [ACCORDING TO HIS OWN PURPOSE
AND GRACE], which was [GIVEN US IN CHRIST JESUS BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN]” (2
